Dr Parvizi qualified from King’s College Dental School in London in 1992 and completed his training at a practice in Bedfordshire, where he stayed on to work in general dentistry. In 1995 he was awarded a scholarship from the American Dental Society of London and went to the University of Iowa College of Dentistry for a three-year Master of Science programme in Fixed, Removable and Implant Prosthodontics. He returned to teach conservative dentistry at King’s College.

Dr Parvizi is a lead clinician at Harley Street Dental and Implant Clinic and joined the team in 1999. His training in the restoration of damaged teeth, full mouth reconstructions and cosmetic work enables him to give patients attractive smiles that function properly using implants, veneers, crowns and bridges.

He is noted by nervous patients for his calm chairside manner and said

“99 per cent of my patients are from personal recommendations, and many of them were children who have grown up with the practice.”

Dr Parvizi is registered on the American Embassy list of dental specialists and sits on the executive board of the American Dental Society of London, where he served as secretary from 2004 to 2007.
